I just browsed through some firefox tabs that have been open for a week or more, and a couple of them are worth sharing. (Note that I'm pretty sure I was initially led to both by one of you, but in neither case do I remember who. Apologies for that.)

Frozen Bubbles

If you blow bubbles in frigid enough air, they freeze — and photograph beautifully.

The xkcd guide to converting to Metric

The key to converting to metric is establishing new reference points. When you hear "26°C", instead of thinking "that's 79°F" you should think "that's warmer than a house but cool for swimming...."
