Home and all's well

I'm home. I've just caught up a bit on LJ --- enough to cringe at my typos in my left-eye-only entries. Which means I'm reading a computer screen without glasses for the first time in 20 years. Not very well, and not without giving myself a headache (so I'm stopping now) --- but (1) well better than I was expecting at this point and (2) at all.

I have a very very red right eye. But it works!

I want to thank everyone for your help and support; I will eventually catch-up on comments.
