Can't sleep

xelaHaven't been able to get to sleep all night. I don't think it's because I have another round of follow-up eye surgery today: Not only am I intellectually clear that there's negligible risk, and that if anything did go wrong it would be easily fixed — but I've done this procedure once before, and it's the walk in the park of surgeries. Hell, getting a pedicure is more uncomfortable.
Though I suppose I can blame the surgery to the extent that, in a possible overabundance of caution, it's on account of it that I decided not to take an ambien.
When I gave up on trying to sleep and went to check my LJ, I got a smile that pretty well made up for the sleeplessness, in the form of today's XKCD. If I had a time machine, I'd give a framed print of it to every brilliant girl I've ever been smitten with.
