Sometimes, nothing's better than an old insult

I just got home, having had to park a block away and walk slightly uphill, then up the stairs in this heat with two full bags of groceries, followed by putting the groceries away in our stiflingly un-air-conditioned kitchen. As I turned from putting the last item in the pantry, the kitchen sink caught my eye, and I heard in my head a half-remembered voice from childhood TV re-runs (Fred Flintstone, I think) saying Go soak your head!

So I did.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I wonder how many other old-school insulting imperatives turn out to be delightful? Certainly I'd have enjoyed jumping in a lake today.....
