Arg; I've fallen so far behind reading LJ that the oldest entry on my friends page is one I haven't seen. If any of you said something in your journal before Oct. 24 that you think I'd find interesting or expected me to comment on, please drop me a pointer in a comment to this. I'll eventually catch up with the 150 posts since then....

Alex, may I make a suggestion? I just checked out your friends page. Apparently you have only one friends page and all your friends/communities are there, yes? Perhaps it would be of considerable use to you to create a filter, such as "communities" and move all your communities over to it and out of "default view". Then you have actual friends on your friends page, and your communities on a friends/communities page.

It's the equivalent of having your email automatically sorted into two folders on the basis of who it's from. Personally, I find that very helpful, in that I can put low-priority groups on a separate page to check out less frequently.

No. I have friends groups. I was referring to the smallest of those groups. It would take me a full day to catch up with two weeks of every person and group in my friends list — there's one community in my list that gets around 50 posts a day....
