Delay redux

xelaSurgeon's office called around 14:30. My surgery is now scheduled for Dec. 3, not Nov. 10. Still bouncing back and forth between thinking about other things (like, you know, the stuff the people who pay for my health insurance pay me to think about) and trying to find some way to make lemonade out of this particular hogshead of sour lemons.
