xelaI cut myself shaving this morning. Last thing, in the shower. Ouch!. Then the water at my feet starts being sort of rust colored.
So I get out, apply styptic pencil, and sit at the computer for 40 minutes playing a game I know I can play one-handed, while keeping pressure on the wound.
So close to an hour later, I'm standing in front of the mirror. And realize that all I'm going to be able to see is the trickle of blood emerging from behind my ear.
But wait! I live in the future:
Well. So much for getting to work early this morning.
[Edit 2015-11-18 15:53: I should add that it looks far worse than it felt. The only pain was when I cut it. If I weren't on blood thinners, I'd have been able to get on with my morning. But it only finally stopped bleeding about an hour ago.]
