xelaWell, tomorrow I go home. And overall I'm feeling good about the fact. The past few days' therapy sessions have all gone extremely well, with me managing distances in the walker I wouldn't have believed possible by now a week ago.
I'm pretty much done packing: the last few details that remain for the morning are things that necessarily have to wait. Tomorrow will be hard, but I feel like these past few days have prepared me well for it. I look forward to sleeping in my own bed, on my still new (even if it has been nearly a month since I slept on it) Casper mattress.
I did a little mental arithmetic earlier: I went in for surgery on 3 Dec; I've spent five nights total at home since then. So tonight will be my 78th in a hospital bed since Dec. I really think that's plenty.
