Talking to Connor

Connor, 1 year old, crawls on top of the Wall Street Journal on the couch next to me, and starts picking at it.

Me: "It's a newspaper. I'm afraid it doesn't have any funnies, though. Unless you count the editorial page, and then only if you have a really twisted sense of humor."

Connor loves newspaper. He loves the crinkly sound it makes as he wads it up and tries to put it in his mouth...

Reminds me of a great Sesame street sketch where Gordon is reading "The Dynamics of Keynesian Economics" and Big Bird keeps begging to see the pictures... :-)
