But to be Canada you have to ski. I want to cross-country ski. But I'm afraid it's a want that's closer to "I want to sail around the world" than to "I want breakfast" on the likely-to-happen-in-this-lifetime scale.

You're the United Nations!
Most people think you're ineffective, but you are trying to completely save the world from itself, so there's always going to be a long way to go.  You're always the one trying to get friends to talk to each other, enemies to talk to each other, anyone who can to just talk instead of beating each other about the head and torso.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and you get very schizophrenic as a result.  But your heart is in the right place, and sometimes also in New York.
Take the Country Quiz at the Blue Pyramid

This quiz is interestingly structured, by the way. It's six questions to select one of sixty-four results: six bits; couldn't be less. But the questions branch, which makes for more relevant questions as you narrow the field. For instance, down one particularly depressing branch, the last question is "If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?", with "olive" and "cedar" to choose from. As soon as I saw "cedar" I knew Lebanon lay down that branch, and that the other branch would lead to some Mediterranean country that had been ripped apart by history --- a Balkan country, or Cypress. I think this is the most clever quiz I've seen on LJ.

One side effect of the way the quiz is structured is that each result maps to a unique set of answers. The fuzzy logic quizzes are better at obscuring the answers you gave.
