I know I've done the visited states one before, years ago; I'm not sure about visited countries.

visited 39 states (78%)

I'd say "I haven't included any place where I've only been through the airport" — but it turns out there are no such places anymore. I do find it increasingly odd that, though I've lived on the East Coast for 20 years now and been up and down it any number of times, I've still somehow never set foot in Delaware. I mean, I know it's a small state, but still....
I thought it might be interesting (to me, if no-one else) to compare the states I've visited to the ones I've spent at least one night in, and the ones I've actually lived in.
States I've spent at least one night in:

visited 27 states (54%)
Create your own visited map of The United States
States I've lived in:

visited 6 states (12%)
Create your own visited map of The United States
Hm. My life has been rather more Northerly (and M/W-centric) than I'd realized.
