Waiting

There were 2 people glued to the TV in the waitingroom,so after they checked me in I asked when I need to be back. So am spending 45 min in the cafeteria. Which is full but the buzz of hundred or so people talking is no annoyance at compared to a yammering TV. Smell of food a bit distracting - not allowed to eat since last night. Maybe come here after.

Or maybe not - V is heading here to be my 'ride' home, bless her. Maybe with her to steer me I can do better than cafeteria food. Wonder if the real reason they make patients fast is to distract them. It's working....
