Red Line fubar

Arrived at Charles T a half he ago, after MEEI appt (about which more anon).

Platform had enough ppl to half fill a train when I got here. 15 min later they announce that due to a stuck train near Harvard there will be significant delays. Train finally arrives 5 min later, already packed. People cram in somehow, with a good 100 of us still here. It just finAlly left.

Just be glad you weren't stuck on the dysfunctional train, like I was.

I think the older red line trains are now ~40 years old. It may be time to invest in stock that can stop on the hill between central and Harvard and not get stuck there when carrying rush hour loads.
