On the off chance that any of you are
  1. A t-mobile customer
  2. who has figured outhow to view your data usage on my.t-mobile.com
I would really appreciate it if you'd clue me in. I spent roughly a half-hour trying to figure it out last night, learning only one certain fact in the process: That t-mobile's online support is full of lies. Summary of my experience with their site last night, which you should totally feel free to ignore:
  1. I go to my.t-mobile.com and log in.
  2. I look for something that says something like "Billing" (on the theory that my monthly bills, which I never look at, should detail my usage). See nothing. Mouse around; find that if I hover over "Support" some subtabs appear, including one labeled "Billing" — which, I delude myself into thinking, looks promising. So I click on it.
  3. Nothing on this page about viewing my bills either. But there is something that says
Check your usage on My T-Mobile
To check your usage on My T-Mobile, log in and click USAGE.
    (Yes, really: "USAGE." All caps.)
  4. Since I had started by logging onto My T-Mobile, I was pretty sure there was no USAGE there to click on. But I looked anyway. Nada.
So, in summary, after half an hour on their website, I have not found a way to look at my bills, nor a way to view my usage. And the only fact I have ascertained is that their online help directs you to stuff on their site that doesn't exist.

1. Log in.
2. Underneath "Welcome, Your Name" should be a big "Pay Bill" button and a smaller "View Bill" to the right of it. If you don't have this, we have different "My T-Mobile"s and I'm not sure the remaining links will be useful. If we do, click "View Bill."
3. That will bring you to this page: https://account.my.t-mobile.com/billing/summary.html The "Current Charges" box has in the upper left-hand-corner "Print Bill (PDF)" and "View usage summary." I've always just nabbed the PDF, but the view usage summary (https://account.my.t-mobile.com/usage/usageoverview.html) seems like exactly what you want.

Hope this helps.

The "Usage" tab at the top of the Summary page also has all sorts of info.

Thank you, but no go. I should probably have mentioned that I have a prepaid plan (part of the reason I've never bothered to try to look at my bill before being how entirely predictable it is). Apparently that means I get a different user experience than people with normal accounts.

I've used T-Mobile for a pre-paid plan (for my mom) and it's just as horrible to deal with for pre-paid plans. Don't know what they're smoking in their UI/UX department over there.

I am, in fact, using a pre-paid plan. I noticed in my fishing around my plan, though it has "unlimited" data, switches me to tin-can-and-string data rates after my first GB each month. Which I've never noticed happening. Which in turn suggests that the thing I was really trying to figure out --- whether I cared about getting more than 1 GB/month with a new carrier when I punt t-mobile --- is a non-issue.
