The years roll on

xelaToday was my birthday, which, as I often do, I let pass unmarked. But the good wishes have reminded me that I have really amazing friends, whom I see far too little.
In recent years I've sometimes done something later in the Summer — a "Not Dead Yet" party — around the anniversary of my stroke. This year will be ten years. Also this year, I feel like I've found a new wind, after some time in the doldrums. So I'm going to want to make a point of marking the turn.
Watch this space for more info, but if you want to pencil something in for now, mark July 25. Whatever I do will be low-key; probably brunch or lunch rather than dinner. More when I know more!
