Sherlock Special
Jan. 1st, 2016 11:10 pmI haven't watched TV at home for better than three years, nor in the four weeks I've been in hospitals since my hip replacement. Until tonight. For no particular reason (that I was conscious of, anyway), I turned on the TV in my room after my evening pills, and quickly saw a listing for (IIRC) "Masterpiece Sherlock"
I've watched all of Sherlock at least twice through, so how could I resist?
My reaction is to just shake my head in wonder. Which has been my response to the whole series. I will of course buy it and watch it again as soon as I can, but doubt very much that I will ever have even the illusion of having in my mind a clear sense of what constitutes the "actual" narrative of Sherlock. Not that I'll ever stop trying.
